The nursery and garden center was founded in 1989 by Bob Lee, a plant enthusiast with a passion for gardening and the splendor of nature.
After a long and wonderful tenure as owner of this unique nursery, last fall Bob's pride and joy was placed in the capable hands of longtime friend and past Twelve Corners' worker, Clay Humphrys. Although much will remain the same, there will be many changes and new surprises for everyone. Clay and his wife, Courtney, hope that you will visit often and continue to enjoy the nursery as you have for so many years.
Please check back often for updates and plan to join us for the official Grand Opening this spring.
Thanks for being loyal customers and friends. We hope the relationship continues for many, many years to come.
One of the best parts of this business is the opportunity to employ people with similar interests. Although diverse, all employees at Twelve Corners possess a love for "playing in the dirt". We consider employees very important to the success of our business and it doesn't take long to consider them extended family as well. We'd like to introduce them to you if you haven't met them yet.
More on the newest additions to the Twelve Corners Family coming soon!
Clay Humphrys (owner) worked at Twelve Corners regularly from 1998 until 2002 during high school and his summers home from college. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a degree in Horticulture. After college, Clay worked in Owensboro, Kentucky as a landscape designer and crew manager before moving back to Gallatin to start his own landscaping company. Owning a nursery has always been a dream of Clay's and he could not pass up the opportunity to carry on the legacy of one so close to his heart.
